The Penguins lose 6-1 to Philadelphia. Pittsburgh actually led the game 1-0 when Jamie Pushor netted his second of the season at 6:30 of the first period. Michal Handzus tied the game with 34 seconds remaining in the first. The Flyers got the eventual game-winner from Keith Primeau on the power play at 2:03 of the second. Philadelphia then added two more goals in the second and two in the third for the victory. Alexandre Daigle was recalled from Wilkes-Barre and played in place of the injured Brian Holzinger.
