Pens lose 3-2 to Buffalo in OT (10-Oct-2005)
The Penguins remain winless for the season after losing 3-2 to Buffalo in front of a sparse crowd of 12,050 at HSBC Arena. Marc-Andre Fleury played a strong game in goal but was unable to keep the puck with his left skate against the post and Jochen Hecht was able to jam it in with 21 seconds to go in overtime. The Pens got goals from Ziggy Palffy and Mark Recchi. Sidney Crosby had an assist and now has a four game point-scoring streak.
