Pens beat Rangers 6-5 on last second Crosby goal (13-Oct-2006)
The Penguins defeat the Rangers 6-5 in a special teams-dominated contest in front of 18,200 at Madison Square Garden. Sidney Crosby scored the game-winner on the power play with 3.3 seconds to go in the game. The goal gave Crosby a four point night as he also had three power play assists.

The teams combined to score seven power play goals in a very tightly officiated game. The scoring began with a shorthanded Jordan Staal breakaway goal (his first NHL goal) at 3:23 of the second period. Kris Letang also scored his first NHL goal. Ryan Whitney scored a power play goal and the Pens' only even strength goal of the game. Michel Ouellet scored the other Penguins power play goal.
