The Penguins put a halt to an eight game winless streak against Montreal with a 3-2 win at Mellon Arena. Pittsburgh was down 1-0 after the first period but scored three times in the second. The Canadiens had a goal disallowed late in the second since the net was off its moorings. Milan Kraft and Martin Straka (2) scored for the Pens.
