Pens win 2-1 in Caron's first NHL start (13-Jan-2003)
Sebastien Caron turns aside 31 of 32 shots in his first NHL start and the Pens beat the Bruins 2-1 in Boston. Shean Donovan opened the scoring at 5:28 of the first period off a Boston turnover but Mike Knuble tied it up at 11:47. There was no scoring in the second as Caron stopped 15 shots in the period. Jan Hrdina netted the game-winner off a nice Alexei Kovalev set-up at 14:02 of the third. Caron was named the game's number one star. Mario Lemieux dressed but only played 3:53 before leaving the game after the first intermission.
