Penguins embarrassed 4-1 by Islanders (29-Jan-2013)
The Penguins turn in an awful performance and lose 4-1 to the Islanders in front of 18,657 at CONSOL Energy Center. Marc-Andre Fleury gave up four goals on 17 shots and was pulled at the second intermission. Pascal Dupuis scored a late goal to keep Pittsburgh from being shut out.
Penguins defeat Senators 2-1 in shootout (28-Jan-2013)
The Penguins defeat the Senators 2-1 in shootout in front of 20,081 at Scotiabank Place. James Neal scored the lone Pittsburgh regulation goal at 13:31 of the first off of an Evgeni Malkin feed. Colin Greening tied it at one at the 13:44 mark of the second. After a scoreless third period and overtime, the game went into a shootout where James Neal, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin all beat Senators goaltender, Craig Anderson.
Penguins lose 4-2 to Jets (26-Jan-2013)
The Penguins blow a 2-0 lead in 4-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Sidney Crosby had given Pittsburgh a 2-0 on his second and third goals of the season in the first period but the Jets responded with three in the second and added an empty-netter in the third.
Penguins lose home-opener 5-2 to the Maple Leafs (24-Jan-2013)
The Penguins' home-opener is spoiled 5-2 by the Leafs. Pittsburgh goal-scorers were Evgeni Malkin (PPG - 18:51 - 1st period) and Sidney Crosby (7:17 - 2nd period). Attendance was 18,641, a Consol Energy Center record.
Penguins win pair on opening weekend (20-Jan-2013)
The Penguins started off their 2013 campaign with two convincing road wins over divisional opponents. On Saturday, Pittsburgh downed the Flyers 3-1. Marc-Andre Fleury recorded his 227th career win, moving him past Tom Barrasso for first place on the team's all-time list. On Sunday, the Penguins got two goals from James Neal and a three-assist night from Evgeni Malkin in a 6-3 win over the Rangers.

The Pittsburgh Penguins 2013 Training Camp Schedule has been released. The Penguins have three open practices and one Black and Gold scrimmage at CONSOL Energy Center.
The Penguins also have three open practices at Southpointe in February.
Penguins open training camp today at 3:10pm (13-Jan-2013)
The Pittsburgh Penguins will open training camp on Sunday afternoon with a 3:10pm practice that will be open to the public at the team's Southpointe practice facility.
A full training camp schedule and roster will be released on Sunday.
