The same Babcock that is only successful with stacked teams and rarely, if ever elevates his teams? I’ll pass. I watched enough of him in Toronto and saw his stubborn, pig headed ways. It’s never his fault either, ever. He is vastly overrated.

Babcock’s contract is still being paid by Toronto. He won’t mess that up by taking a lower paying gig.

I think I heard he took a non-NHL coaching job so Toronto still pays him.

Gallant. I wouldn’t mind Boudreau. Short term, but he knows how to coach offensive stars.

I really REALLY don't want Boudreau, anyone that wants him, have you forgotten the first "Road to the Winter Classics"? EVERYONE thought he was an a**, and, yes, ha had good results in the regular season, but have never been good in the playoffs. Why would we want the guy??

He’s had the worst luck in game 7’s and has been in a lot of them. He’s only once had his goaltender outplay the opponent’s in a game 7. And that’s his only game 7 victory. Aside from that, his goaltending has been absolutely garbage in game 7’s. His teams have also had a pretty low shooting % in game 7’s.

I’m not totally against him.

Today should be telling. Afternoon game, which they usually sleepwalk through, after blowing a 3 goal lead and losing in regulation.

See if Sully can rally the troops. Really starting to feel if they don’t get on a run a change will be made sooner than later.
