He got waived by MIN and is a UFA in the summer.

I assume the Pens have first crack at him, so I say why not. He would basically be on a one month contract. He would instantly be the third best forward on the team, which is quite a depressing thought.

At this point, any move that would get Army off the top line is a good move.

With this post, this season hits a new low. Just for the fact that it is true.

Daigle would not be the 3rd best forward and the Penguins need players in the 23-26 age range, not washed-up old guys.

Daigle didn't work before here. What makes you think he will work now?

Daigle is maybe the biggest 1st overall bust in the history of the game, If the pens ever try to get this slug I instantly become a former season ticket holder!

The funniest part of Daigle's previous stint was that he jsut happened to finally score a goal at the lone game I atteneded that season. Go figure. :D

Apparently, he has not been used right by the following coaches:

Rick Bowness
Dave Allison
Jacques Martin
Wayne Cashman
Roger Neilson
Jacques Demers
John Muckler
Rick Kehoe
Jacques Lemaire

That's nine coaches who have failed to use the great Alexandre Daigle properly. Among them are three guys who have won Stanley Cups. I guess they're all just idiots. Yep, all Daigle needs is the right coach .

You must be a recent purchaser, because the Pens tried and did get Daigle previously.
