Some of us have better things to do than speculate about trades we don't even care about. Like for instance watching and rewatching the latest Schnappi video  or lunch at the indian buffet :o chicken tikka masala rulez

Penguins trade franchise to Toronto for Sundin, Kaberle, and a 6th round selection in 2009.

I'm not sure we'll need this... :?

Well, actually I am sure we need this. We'll trade Cross for a 6th rounder or something like that...

If CP got a 6th rounder for Cory Cross, it would rival "The Deal".

Hilbert's stats - Center - Chicago

28 gp, 5g, 4a, -4

So that would make him the team leader in +/-

Hey this should work out great.. the last two guys we got from Chicago were steals right?

Sather builds a team of ex-Penguins in NY and wins, while CP builds a team of former 'hawks in Pittsburgh and, of course, we continue to lose.

37 goals last year in the AHL though... seriously, if we were going to claim someone - better him than Rico.

This is G Sather's 1st winning regular season with NYR.

Is Andy Hilbert back up to Jeff Jimmerson?

This could be more of a move for the Baby Pens....they need a few scorers. We aren't risking much trying to pass him through waivers....unlike guys such as Army, Surovy etc.

Hilbert looks like another career minor leaguer/underachiever. I guess the Pens are starting a collection.

Except that Norfolk is in the same division as Wilkes-Barre and in the playoffs right now. Remember, they have divisional playoffs in the AHL so Chicago would almost certainly claim him back and send him to Norfolk if we tried it.

You guys think LeClair is nervous yet? I mean, there's not much time left for him to get the hell out of here.

I don't think John Leclair will be any happier if Mark Recchi leaves
him with the young pens.
Maybe with the Sabres for ... fill in the blank.
