Ollie Jokinen just signed a 4 year deal, maybe Recchi value goes up even more

Mixed feelings. I want trades, but I don't want trades made by Clueless Craig.

I agree that i dont want CP making weak trades, but i honestly would rather watch a losing young team like in 03-04, rather than Leclair making dumb decisions with the puck, and Recchi refusing to play D.

Yes, just found out I could've saved a bunch on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

HA! Now THAT is breaking news!

I don't think John Leclair will be any happier if Mark Recchi leaves
him with the young pens.
Maybe with the Sabres for ... fill in the blank.

If there is not much of a market for LeClair, CP should at least get Taylor Pyatt. Similar sized guys with at the same position, only differences at the age and skill. Leclair can help Sabres in the playoffs. The Pens can take another chance on a young player.

It seems to me that maybe CP is working on something big.... otherwise it may have just went down already.

Keep in mind that CP has been taking alot of heat lately from the press for not being up to par, maybe he is looking to re-establish himself somehow. I think he is really trying to play poker with these guys in order to make a great deal. I guess we will find out soon.

if CP was playing poker.. i would definetly call him if he went all in...

look at what hes done the past years

he is the kind of guy that would push all in w/ 2/7 offsuit

Recchi to Canes for a player to be named and a draft pick... it'll be interesting to actually know WHAT player and what round.

those on letsgocanes.com board seem surprised, and no mentions as to who we've gotten other than TBA and a draft pick

so... after it is all said and done...

we lose Recchi for 2 AHLers...

Sign a Center who stinks...

Get rid of Cross(best move of the day)

Get rid of Jackman, who was one of the only Dmen producing points

------

all in all... a waste of a perfectly good day
