The anticipation is killing me, but the letdown will be even worse if CP blows it.

I just hope they get someone who can score goals.

Losing Malone's offensive output makes us even worse... well, not like he was scoring that many anyways... but you get the idea.

does anybody else feel that ryan malone leaving pittsburgh is a bad, awful thing,

im a believer that its a sophmore slump... he has showed signs of moves and speed, and even a little emotion the last week or two

every sport has a sophmore slump... why do hockey fans not believe in it!?

I think his case is more than a sophomore slump, just a realization of his true talent. Shadesof offensive ability-toughness low, scoring touch and hands-but I dont think I will ever forget the play he made the other night agaainst the Canes when on th PK he drifted to a puck and gave it right to the point man. From what I have heard of his past, his skills and ability have only come in the past 6-7 years, and II think he's realizing the work ethic it takes to play in this (new) league.

Hometown boy lacking effort and defensive reliability.

10:41 a.m - TSN Ottawa reporter Brent Wallace talks about the Sens wish list of "a top 6 forward as well as a veteran defencemen"

so much for malone, but we do have an ample amount of vet D-men that the sens skated around before, maybe they'll pick one or two up for practice purposes

I dont think eklund was referring to smoke as a person, but if you're stuck on it i thought smoke was brian smolinski

It would suck to see him go, but I'd do it for the right return. Def. not for some picks. He has had a sophomore slump, but this whole team has been horrid.
