that's kind of a weird situation. You would think that the one player of the old boys to go would be LeClair. Now he's stuck here without his buddy, who probably is the only reason why he signed in the first place. :P

I guess his trade value wasn't very high.

LeClair is probably ready to kill himself.

Everything has to be in the NHL Office by 3PM. They usually have everything announced by 4 or a little after.

There have been cases when trades weren't announced until after 5, but that is rare.

Latest trade I have ever seen was 5:40...and that was when the Pens traded Richer to NJ.

Dream all you want. it is over. It even said in the PG this morning that they have cracked down on the deadline. If the paperwork isn't in by 3:00, the deal doesn't happen.

Deals are announced after the deadline every single year.

Exactly, every time I go back to TSN there's another trade announced. I'm not holding out hope but it is possible.

The Richer trade was submitted right before 3, but wasnt announced until 6 here.

It was on the Jersey site though.

Looks like things are winding down. Alot of moves league wide, but with the CAP hard to move some of the big names.
