who cares what city they play in?
I'll still watch the team no matter what town they call home.

Very similiar to the Kovy deal to NY. Alot of medicre names that will just fade away. Europe, FA, etc etc. It's a shame. As if we are not overloaded with 3rd and 4th liners as is. How many f'in Tom Kostopoulos and Matt Hussey's can you have?
Best move today by far was sending Endicott down.
Everyone needs to get it in their heads that this club is about the future. In a few years we will be one helluva team. When Crosby, Malkin, Whitney, Orpik, Welch, Fleury, Armstrong, etc. develop, we will be scary. We all need to have patience with the youngins and let things ride. All of the 'Whitney sucks', 'Fleury sucks' talk is retarded. We are a developing team, and you can't expect these guys to play like the Hurricanes. This developing time will really highlight who are the real Pens fans, and who isn't.
I'm in agreement with the original poster. This wasn't the debacle that some want it to be. The Pens did about as well as they could have with the players they were dealing. Recchi's the only one that had value, but it was handicapped by his no-trade clause. Realistically, most of the guys we got back are going to turn into nothing. But if just one or two of those players and draft picks turn into legit players, that's something because two of the guys traded were trash, and Recchi is 38 and close to retirement.

i do enjoy watching the team grow, it just angers me that there's a real chance we won't get to see the payoff.
