See a pattern

Last year we finished strong as one of the most winning teams in March. Okay well 2 years ago, whatever. This year, we seem to be doing the same. So what is it with this late good play? Pressure's off? Are they overachieving or was the talent there all along? Educate this Amish bad boy.

In my opinion, we're in the EXACT SAME POSITION as last season. We started with Mario, and finished without him. The FA signings really disrupted team chemistry, and now that we've basically gotten rid of all the crap we thought was going to help, we need to rebuild that chemistry, except this time around we actually have a lot of potential with Crosby, Fleury, Gonchar and Malone(considering they keep their play up).

I think it's very apparent now what MT was doing the past few months. He wasn't necessarily worried about winning, but getting the guys he needs in the line up and the crap he doesn't want out of it, such as Rita or Nordgren. Hopefully if the Pens are active whatsoever in the off season they get some proven talent instead of taking chances on older players. They really should just let MT have total control because whatever he does it works when he has the personel.
