He got 5 for fighting and a 10 minute misconduct - guessing that was for getting into a fight after initially being separated.

His decisions with the puck on the point during the power play have been a bigger joke.

Yahoo is also showing 40: 5 for fighting, 5 for spearing, a 10 minute misconduct and TWO game misconducts.

How do you get a two game misconduct? How it that even possible? What does that mean? I've no idea help with the info please.

You know it's a cheap shot when Surovy drops gloves.

Well. Hilbert is showing us why he has'nt earned steady work at the NHL level. Guess we can throw him into "if only they would" list of prospects we get to "enjoy" watching every game. I don't think I would tune in if not for Crosby and Fleury.

If that doesn't deserve a suspension, I don't know what does.

THat should be a five minute major. That was a definite intent to injure.

I'm guessing here, but if Cairns had not speared Chara, he would not have been tossed. The refs could have also ruled he had come off the bench, end of the period or not. Anytime I have been playing a poor imitation of the sport and there has been an altercation at the end of a period, we have always been instructed to stay on the bench. We don't go the lockerroom between periods though.

Nice intensity to give up two SH breakaways on the same PP.

How long before this gets REALLY ugly?

Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I'd go head-hunting here. Old time hockey.

These guys are playing like a team of men tonight. Nas and Orpik decking Eaves when he went fishing for the rebound, Surovy jumping on Mezaros for the low bridge on Crosby. This kind of hockey character never happened when Edzo was the coach or Recchi was on the ice.

Why isn't Norgren playing? Why does CP trade for players that don't even get ice time?
