Good play by Malone to intercept the puck, bad play to miss the net and clear the zone for the Isles.

He is playing a lot better since the break though.

If he starts next season they way he is playing now, he could net over 30.

He's also starting to act like a 30 year old after he scores like he knows he's that good and it's routine.

I think it depnds on the score in that regard. Im sure if that goal made it 1-0 he would have been stoked. He is smart enough to act like a veteren when it calls for it, he didnt rub it in their face and give them 3rd period ammo.

Another good pass by Malone to see Gonchar coming late.

As I was about to post before Sid scored and interrupted me ( :) )

He he so good at protecting the puck down low. Moments before the goal, he had circled out from behind the net with a guy on him and the defender could not get to the puck. He just widens his stance and leans in. Excellent work.

Let's hope the pens have a solid 3rd. It would be a nice change to end the game strong!

The paramedics came in, they restricted his movement and once he was stable they lifted him off the ice and carried him out. No sign of movement and no update given yet.

Quick Isles interview with Sid. He said his first season has pretty much flown by. He also said what a thrill it is to compete against some of the greatest players in the world, game in and game out. However, he made no mention of playing with some of the greatest players in the world, game in and game out....

Crosbys goal was sweet. He is really agile and can maintain incredible balance in all sorts of tough spots. Just a perfect example of how great players make average ones looks great on the socre sheet. not that Hilberts pass was horrible, it just wasnt a tap in like it could have been.

90% of the other Penguins would have hit the logo on Snow's chest with a shot in that situation.

They just put up a graphic that said the Pens are something like 13-2-1 when leading after 2. I know your odds go up in you are up going into the 3rd, but I was surprised to see that mark be so good.

They should lead after two periods more often.

What a difference lack of bone-headed penalties makes; in their game, and my nerves.

Hilbert fans on an attempt at a virtually empty net and the Isles get a breakway. Good patience by Caron to stop the penalty shot chance by Bergenheim.

In thought it was a bad call until the replay showed it was a solid take down from behind and Bergheim had control coming into the zone. Sad thing is Bergheim got a shot off and Gonchar almost knocked it in after the taje down. Thankfully Caron came up with the svae on the PS.

Dare I say Caron just made the 'big save' the Pens needed to keep the game going their way and hang on for a win?
