Tonight's "Inside Penguin Hockey."

Postby penny lane on Sat Apr 01, 2006 1:36 pm

Saw last evening that tonight's Inside Penguin Hockey will be
a feature about Sid's rookie season.

Local Pittsburgh time is 6pm.
Most likely will be shown again & again at the most unusual times. :P

Preach it! Clogs and sandals should be banned for all males everywhere.

Flip flops too...

However... The players they interview usually look like they came right from the shower after practice. They are usually dressed in a t-shirt, shorts and slip-on shoes. Therefore they are using the shoes correctly, as shower shoes.

Not secure enough in your manhood to wear clogs?

Let me share this with you. Until recently I spent many many hours on airplanes travelling around the country. Have you ever had to go through airport security? Leather clogs rock for easy on easy off. Unless I'm flying with a suit on, I won't wear anything else for airline travel.

A toga would be great for easy on/off with no metal required for airline security as well... but does that mean they should be worn in public?

Not a bad idea...

Do they sell them at Gimbles, Hornes, or Zayres?

i totally understand betting the plastic clogs and flip flops for shower-shoes and pool/beach usage. But wearing them out and about as normal footware... no. And that does include the "designer" flip-flops they sell.

I like flip flops in the summer, and I wear birkinstock clogs year round. Most comfortable footwear ever created, so you can't take them away.

The bright colored plastic ones are a bit hard on the eyes, but only because they're so bright, not because they're clogs :-)
