My first prediction for the surprise of next seasons camp.

Postby Zscout on Sun Apr 02, 2006 9:11 am

I know it is early, but I want to be able to say you heard it from me first.
My pick to come out of nowhere and make next years NHL roster is Forward Kurtis McLean.
McLean is a legend at Norwich when he was a four time All American (Div III) led them in scoring and was the Div III Player of the year. He scored 118 goals and had 94 assists in 114 games. He signed by the Penguins and has bounced between the Nailer and WBS. He has dominated in Wheeling (56 points in 41 games), and has been given limited ice time when playing with WBS, but still is noticeable with the energy and excitement he generates with his few shift. I saw him play against the Phantoms and he was one of the best players on the ice, I never heard of him before that, and he left a strong impact on me.
