Quick trivia....Who was picked 2nd last year after Crosby?

Postby Mountaineer on Wed Apr 05, 2006 3:49 pm

Answer: Bobby Ryan

How many knew the answer, and how many had to check?

I didn't know the answer, and I would guess that the majority didn't either. Goes to show that, this season aside, we're the luckiest fans in the NHL.

Let's Go Pens!!!!

I can say I honestly knew that without looking it up.

I knew that too and I'm guessing Jack Johnson was #3. And after looking that one up I am right.

I knew this, but automatically first assumed Johnson since he was really the second best player that year.

Ryan showed decent hands, but looked really slow to me at the WJC's. He's a million miles from Sidney, so yes we should feel quite lucky.

this is what I can remember from the 2005 draft

We got the #1 and draft Sid.
Ducks use #2 to draft Ryan
Johnson goes at #3
Price is drafted by the Habs at 5
Brule is drafted by the BJs at 6
Staal is drafted by the Rags at 12 (I think)

I recoqnize all these names from Eastside Hockey Manager. That Muller guy too, he'll be awesome :) CP should play Eastside and base all his actions on it
