Congrats Sid.

Now it's time to give Blake alittle pay back. Dirty hit, no question .... Roy should get right on him, I don't care if we spend the entire third period shorthanded.

Sid should not play the final 10. The crowd got what they came to see. The Isles will play dirty because they have the whole series this year. Let Nordgren and Roy get boarded, not Crosby.

Anyone know...

1. exactly what Hawerchuk's record for points scored by an 18-year old is? 103?

2. ...if the game is on TV tomorrow? I'm going to the Pirates game, but I could be back in time to hear the Leafs fans boo their team off the ice.

I guess I could look up Hawerchuk's page on hockeydb.com, eh?

Must haves from the question marks for next season IMO:

Cairns
Malone (big guy, strong on his skates, can handle a puck in a phone booth)
Boogy
LeClair (if he is willing)
Hilbert

Roy? (I like his ability to stick handle and will come back to form after a summer of rest with his skull)

I like Rita. Maybe he would be good with Malkin. I think he just needs a setup guy.

Did anyone hear Crosby say in the pre game interview that the fans have been and they have "one more year"? I didn't get to hear it, but it was on another board? Did it sound like he knew something, that the Pens were moving? Or was he just generalizing just in case.

There's the Ryan Whitney we drafted. He's really come along the last few weeks. He needs to play like this every night.

Now that's the way to get some revenge from the other night come out and light them up and way to do it for the last home game. Nice way to end it at home for the fans.

I really hope that when this time comes next year, we aren't talking about a lame duck season.

I really, really hope...

How lucky is Garth Snow? He has witnessed first-hand some of the best Pens moments in the past 5 years.

I watched the pregame and didn't hear that. I'm sure if Sid knew something, we would all know, and if he did have an inside source on the club moving, he wouldn't have slipped up like that.

Except wreaking havoc on the forecheck.

what more do these people want? geesh.

Sorry, he always is good on the forecheck, tonight he got other chances and looked aweful. A give and go with LeClair down low where he didn't anticipate the most obvious play and wasn't ready to shoot when LeClair gave him the puck back. Numerous bad passes (outdone only by Melichar's inability to make a breakout pass), shots in the goalie's chest, etc. Did have a nice assist but he had a bad night overall.
