That explains Goligoski's call-up. Looks like he'll actually get some legitimate ice-time this time.

Yeah, lets hope he steps up his game, as well as Gill.

A big fat "I told you so" to all the people that didn't want Joel "The Answer" Kwiatkowski acquired at the deadline...

Well...this is one of those injuries you except to happen along the line. Hossa getting hurt was a freak accident and really is dissapointing, as was Crosby's.

At this rate, it's only a matter of time before I get an emergency recall.

Not a big loss in my opinion...Whitney is a disappointing and overrated talent...

Ray Shero told me to buy a pair of skates and a stick, because they might need me.

senators are fragile and splintered, pens must be down by players continuing to leave their line-up, tomorrow another character win if the pens can pull it off.
Good luck and fast return to R Whitney. Can't have the Potter playing too many mins in march.

not necessarily a bad thing. We will have a of key players well rested for the playoffs...not tired x straight months of grinding away. Sid should be full of energy, scuds is getting a nice 7-10 day break, hossa a few day, and roberts..

The injury bug appears to have nested in our locker room. I blame the old arena.

So let's see- Kennedy, Conklin, Goligoski, Minard, James, Taffe, Letang. 7 ahlers, I believe hat's a new season record!
On January 21st we had Letang, Conklin, Minard, Brent, Taffe, Filewich against the Caps for six AHLers.

So far this year, 13 of the opening night 22 for WBS have played in the NHL this year. That is a franchise record. If Lannon would have dressed for a game, that would have made 14.

I expected a lot more of this in this thread.

unlike most of our other injuries, this one does not bother me.
Goligoski cant be any worse then what whitney is at times.
Hope he isnt out too long. When it rains it pours.
At least New Jersey lost tonight so if we win tomorrow, big if, we will move into 1ST in the whole conference...........wooohoo.........yeah
