I emailed it in to 102.5 and 105.9 this morning. I wasn't sure they would announce it or not. I am glad they did! The dates are selling out.

Does anyone think that the Red Wings would disqualify the purchases since they are intended for season ticket holders at this time?

Or are they just going to be excited to finally sell out a playoff game for once?

They weren't intended for season ticket holders just people who "intend" to buy new season tickets next year.

Count me in for game seven. I got one ticket in 204A 11 for game seven. I'll be flying in from Atlanta so I'll have to meet up with some of you guys on the board to fully enjoy myself. Hope to see the pens hoist the cup then (but I wouldn't complain if they did that in game 4, 5, or 6).

which is freaking pathetic. and says wonders about hockey fans in Detroit.

the password has been made available to everyone. tickets should have been gone within hours of the password being made public.

i guess they are more concerned with the Pistons.

Maybe they are so superstitious that they believe that buying tickets in advance will somehow "jinx" the team into losing.

I don't find that a fair statement. Detroit has great fans and a lot of tradition. They just happen to be in one of the worst areas economy-wise in the nation as far as large cities go. Add to that the fact that they have one of the worst housing markets, people have a lot more to be concerned about than buying tickets to a playoff game.

Put it this way... the money some of you guys spent on tickets would be anywhere between 10-50% down on a house in that area. A lot of us could purchase a home for cash there with 1 pay check.

Sorry... I just don't think Detroit is a city to crticize about fan loyalty.

Old, but check this out.

That may be true but I thought I heard that the Pistons and Tigers do not seem to be having the same problems. I haven't seen attendance figures but you would assume those factor would be hurting those teams as well.

Either the tickets are all gone or the Wings cut it off. Out of curiosity, I just went to ticketmaster and there are no tickets for sale. Instead of "find tickets", there is just a "more info" link.

The presale ended at 10 AM this morning. They'll sell the rest of the tickets at a later date.
