2-0 Canada halfway through the 1st. 1-0 Jason Williams, and 2-0...

Crosby!

It's 4-0 now, the Canadians are 4 for 7 on the PP with #8 coming up. Break in the action, as the Latvian fans, not too happy with the refs, are showering the ice with all sorts of stuff, icluding shoes.

Oh yeah, Sid has a goal and an assist.

I guess no one told Latvia about the obstruction crackdown. Some of the penalties have been horrible, but most are obvious calls these days.

Crosby has played about 4 shifts since the 1st period.

8-0 now and they're throwing coins and shoes on the ice :D

Man, keep Crosby on the bench :P I'd hate to see his career end early after being lynched in Latvia.

11-0. Oh boy, those poor Latvians...

9 PP goals, somehow Sid failed to add to his point total. Way overrated, that guy...

He finished with 1+1?

Man I'm frustrated! 1+1 when they score 11 and two shots in the frame last game. Grr :D

Well, 5+4 in 4 games ain't that bad I guess =)

How many points did williams end up with tonight? Must've had a ton.

You can tell you guys haven't watched the game, in the middle of the second, Crosby lines was out there only for pp, the last period he got slashed pretty good on thw wirst and only had 2 shifts. The coach was protecting Crosby because there no more use since it was a huge blow out and making the others get comfortable and breaking the ice.

Crosby played very well and he wasn't going to show off after the crowd started to throw, coins, shoes and other stuff.

If I lived in that country I would be ambarrased.

Here is the article from game. Says a Latvian player spoke to the crowd asking them to stop with the money.
What is comical is the player said that the players were angry too. Doesn't bode well for when
Canada plays next at whichever arena.
