Glen Murray back to the burgh?

Postby 8711 on Tue Jul 29, 2008 7:10 pm

Ray Shero has to find a way to sign this guy. Murray is a proven goal scorer if healthy. Would be nice to see him on a line with crosby and satan, as long as he can keep up. Glen Murray's numbers in 1009 career games he has 337 goals and 314 assists.

No. His best days are long behind him. I would like to know a little more about Mark Parrish getting waived by Minnesoata though? I don't know the whole situation, but he's not that old, and was good for 25 to 30 goals a season before signing with the offensively oppressive Wild. He's a right handed shot who can play either side.

I'd definitely consider Parrish before Murray.

Maybe he's from 2010 and Murry went Teemu Selanne and had back to back 40 goal seasons for another team. He's come from the future to warn us!

Glen, you really need to stop promoting yourself on this board. :D

It's the guys second post, he wasn't rude to us in any way, while most here totally disagree about getting Murray, lets be nice and welcome him. Welcome 8711! :)

I think Tony Tanti could do more damage on Sid's wing that Glen Murray.

I hope that we stay the h3ll away from Murray. He's washed up bigtime. Mark Parrish would be a better fit.
