What bold predictions do you have?

I'll go first.

Janne Pesonen will score 25 goals for the NHL Pens this year.

Lemieux comes out of retirement, puts up 135 points. Goals For tops out at 335, Goals Against only hits 150. Gonchar butt ends Hartnell in every game that we play Philly and gets away with it every time. Pesonen, out of respect, gives the golden helmet to Lemieux and it is subsequently broken by a former Penguin while swimming in Mario's pool. Errey drops the F-bomb during a broadcast on FSN, gets away with it.

Fans here will complain and start a thread after a lopsided loss. Most will want Therrien and/or Yeo fired. The common thread will be that the fans know everything and coaches know nothing.

Wait, you said bold...

I think this is the year we get cocky, and blow losses off... just assume we'll finish in the top 4 in the east. It will be much different from the past few years. Good or bad? It's not good to be cocky, but the board will be less annoying. Granted, we'll still have a few naysayers calling for Fire MT and trade Whitney and Crosby has lost a step because of the H.A.S.

Overall, I think we expect a slow start, its happened the past few years. Add the trip to Sweden and the ingredients are there. The pens will pick it up in December and run from there.

Crosby will score 135+ points, win the league MVP, scoring title, and Hart Trophy.

Whitney will be the best Pens Defensemen.

I blame the cockiness on Yeo and the powerless play.

With the brass of a riverboat gambler, RS pulls off another bold deadline move, and in doing so, moves an offensive defenseman
