Now that's a bold prediction. Wasn't that long ago we went more than a season without an empty net goal from anyone. Of course we sucked then and weren't winning at the end of they all that often. I'd love to see, especially since stick handling has not been one of MAF's strong points.

The Pens will win at least one shootout

I can't believe no one's done that yet...

666. Corsby's going to have a lot of unassisted.

If Crosby is to get 136 points I guess Satan would have to score more than 26.

not necessarily...

about half of his points would be on the power play (like in 06-07) where satan isn't really slated to play (we'll counter the stray PP goal from satan with the occasional injury that will cost him a few ES goals, so it's a wash). so then you'd have 68 ES points, 25 or so would be goals for sid, leaving 43 ES assists. whoever they plug in there with sid and satan is good for 18-20, leaving Satan with 23-25 goals.

I predict Stanley Cup... all other player stats beyond that are irrelevant.

Without EC and Ruutu the Pens will win no shootouts and miss the playoffs. We begin a new rebuilding process and draft Tavares next year.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Dupuis will stay on the first line with God and Satan, and that he'll outscore Satan:

Dupuis: 21 G
Satan: 18 G

Hey, you wanted it bold.

He's scored 20 before so it wouldn't be crazy.

I'm curious if you noticed that staal was projected for 18 goals^. Staal looks to be crosby's new winger.

Malkin will continue to play like the best player on the Pens. Crosby will continue to be called the Pens best player.

My bold prediction... the pens will get 162 points this year, that second game of the season was a fluke.
