Vancouver?

Will Luongo be scoring for them as well.
I would put Montreal at 5 or possibly Philly.
I just think when you have Luongo, your going to be dangerous. But if they get some production out of Bernier, Demitra, Wellewood and Hansen they'll be a tough team to play.

My own top 5 right now-
Detroit
Dallas
Pittsburgh
Montreal
San Jose
Only I think the Pens would beat Dallas in a 7 game series, the Stars are a better team on paper.

are they?
i'd tend to think the opposite...that they're like montreal - suprisingly good considering what they're like on paper. it's hard to say (you know, since we have crosby and malkin) that any team outside detroit is better than us "on paper"

Agreed. I don't think Dallas is an "elite" team...That being said. As of right now, there is only 1 elite team imo...

I really think we need to remember that Hossa added little to PIT during the regular season.
The rankings should adjust to this and further....the Devils?
How can they be so high...NJ has Marty and that's it...maybe Rolston helps some...but this is a 6-8 type club.
The Caps BARELY made the playoffs...and that was with an unreal stretch by Huet...who is gone.
They have a shaky D...I would have had them NO higher than 12.
He is WAY overrating the Caps.
Also the Habs are overrated.
What have they done to improve if no Mats?
1. DET
2. SJ
3. PIT
4. DAL
5. MON

The Caps are a fringe playoff team...they were last year...and only due to Heut who they let go.

Uh Vancouver?
You serious?
Boston and WAS wild card?
I already addressed the Caps.
Boston was a major fluke who will finish last in the division.
