NHL.com Fantasy Goalie Preview

NHL.com put up a fantasy goalie ranking at http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app/?service=pag ... eid=381149. I don't have a problem with Fleury's ranking -- though I certainly think he should be ahead of Carey Price, who flopped in the playoffs and doesn't have a full season as a starter under his belt. But I do have a problem with Fleury's projection.

2008-09 projection: 77 games, 37 wins, 3 shutouts, 2.50 GAA

So, assuming Fleury loses 10 times in OT, his record becomes 37-30-10, giving him a total of 84 points. That 77-game projection leaves five for Sabourin. Let's just assume he'll go .500, giving him a 2-2-1 record for 5 points. Are the Penguins really an 89-point team? I see them more along the 95-100 point range, with Fleury playing less and winning more.

My projections:
Fleury: 70 games, 40 wins, 5 shutouts, 2.5 GAA -- 40-22-8 (88 pts)
Sabourin: 12 games, 5 wins, 0 shutouts, 3.2 GAA -- 5-5-2 (12 pts)
Total: 45-27-10 (100 pts)
