I'll be there all three days. I took my vacation from the 17th-20th.

I'll have pictures, video, and full reports up on Faceoff Factor AND The Pensblog at the end of each day.

Each report will be different, and if RJ wishes so, in the absence of Netwolf, I can certainly post a report here as well.

I'm trying to get confirmation.

The press release specifically mentioned those three dates as being open but the full schedule http://penguins.nhl.com/team/app/?servi ... eid=381534 has practices on Sept. 20-27 as well.

The real question is...will NSS (Netwolf Scouting Services) be sending a representative to this year's camp?

I need to take a look at the schedule but if all goes well the rest of this week and early next week, I'm going to shoot for a practice or two.

The official site changed the above link to only show the first three days of camp. Looks like the rest is closed.

I'll be getting there on Wednesday, super early (by 7:30) to get great seats. I might go Thursday as well (I don't go to college until the 21st). I don't think Wednesday or Thursday will be too packed, because it's the middle of the week. There will definitely be a big crowd Friday.

Looks like I'll be attending my first camp this year, as long as work doesn't get any bright ideas like moving me around again. I'm supposed to be off that day (thankya, 9/80 sched), but I've lost out on the last 2 thanks to travel days. :(

Looks like we'll be playing hooky to see the practice on Thursday. Do you folks think it will be difficult to find a parking space in one of the areana lots? Does anyone know what the parking rates are for weekdays? Or is there a better/cheaper place to park?

Does anyone have any idea why there are hardly any practices open to the public? I mean 3? None on weekends? Plus they took forever to announce the open sessions. What's up with that?

I think they know Netwolf won't be around to report on them. :)

With games beginning next week , 9/20 they have games beginning and then off to Sweden.
I guess they get 9/21 off or it is a travel day

OK, But then what's going on with them not announcing the promotional schedule yet?

It's odd. Things seem to be a bit slower than usual.

an update about saturday, 9/20 for judy :P

The Penguins also announced that Saturday’s morning skate will be open to the general public, free of charge. Fans may enter Gate 1 starting at 8:45 a.m. There will be free parking in the East lot at Mellon Arena, which is located above Mario Lemieux Place (although fans must exit the parking lot as soon as practice is over).

Extra players will skate from 9 a.m.-10 a.m., and the players participating in Saturday night’s game will skate from 10:30 a.m. to approximately 11:15 a.m.
