Sidney and Mario were at the US Open to watch Roger Federer win his 13th slam.
:( I would have gone with them and gladly paid for the gas.

I hope they got to meet Roger; bring him to Pittsburgh for a tournament. Federer is a great champ and just loves his game in the same way Sid loves hockey.

*ps, Andy Murray had the Sid play-off beard going

A Murray escaped the shooting tragedy at his grammer school ~ Dunblane in 1996.

grand slam tennis season over, let hockey begin.

~Great find, Penny.

I missed the Men's Final, but got to see Serena win her ninth Grand Slam in one hell of a match. I'm no Federer fan, but Andy Murray hasn't paid his dues yet.

I was right up the road from the Open. OK, maybe not right up the road, but closer than I realized (30 min).

Had I known that, I would have hopped in the car and made the trip

Off topic, but is Sid going to live with Mario this year?

I've heard that he's moving into his own place. From a reliable source.

Ah, I see

It says in the article he was looking for a place so that's probably what happened
