Preseason on TV?

Postby count2infinity on Mon Sep 15, 2008 12:31 pm

this may have already been asked in a previous post, and if so i apologize for not seeing it, but are the preseason games going to be on FSN? or any channel for that matter?

No, FSN is not showing any preseason games. I'm sure you can find them to watch on the interent though. Check myp2p.eu

I would search, but I think somebody responded that VERSUS was showing season opener from Sweden, but
not the pre-season one.

I'd love to see Barry Melrose's debut with vinny and the pens this saturday.

Vinny is hurt and won't be playing in the first couple preseason games.

They have shown the preseason games on Center Ice online before. Last year I think it was, they had a free trial of CI online that included the preseason games.

FSN is going to re run Pirate games and also the Pittsburgh Passion. I think they will also be covering the football games between Clarion and Slippery Rock. Big audience for all of those. Who needs hockey when you have all that going for you????????????????????????

Only my admittedly uninformed speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised if the game against Jokerit appeared on the NHL network.

i'm sure the games against the leafs will be broadcast in canada, so if you have expressvu you will be able to see them or i'm sure they will be streamed online somewhere.

NHL.com doesn't have a TV listing for any games, meaning they'll probably only appear on center ice. There is no listing for the game against Jokerit either, so who knows. Probably subject to change.

I e-mailed FSN about a week ago, and asked

They will not be showing any games. Confirmed.

Keep an eye on NHL network. Right now they are showing a bunch of the other teams prospect tourneys. Maybe they pick up something up broadcast by one of our preseason opponents.
