I think this is just a highlight of the setting up and parts of the game.

If anyone needs the complete broadcast, I have the complete game (HD feed).

I find it shady that it is only $10 and you can only buy it from "Rick Jeanneret's Top Shelf DVD". I would be cautious before buying this DVD. It appears it was made under the authority of the Sabres and not the NHL. The entire thing is filmed from a pro-Buffalo standpoint.

Despite that it might still be cool to watch.

Well I bought and the whole tickets.com was asking me where to deliver my "tickets" and talked about will call and what not. It was extremely shady, but I'll report back on how the DVD is when it comes.... if it comes... I did get my ticket confirmation email though lol

It's not shady, it was just produced by the Sabres and is being distributed by them. They're just using their ticketing system to sell it. I grew up in Buffalo, so I will enjoy the buffalo "angle."

Yeah but part of my point was that it was made by the Sabres and not by the NHL. I'm sure the NHL will probably release an official version.

I bought it and cant wait to get it. I would love to see it from the Buffalo point of view, and when the NHL or Pens put their version out, i will also get that. I want as much coverage of this historical date in hockey!

Just to let people know, i recieved my DVD and it is great. It is from the Buffalo angle, but it shows the weeks prior to the game and everything leading up to it. It does not have the game. just highlights. But the player interviews and commentary is wonderful. i recommend it.

The DVD is only 30 min in length. Personally I do not recommend it. I feel it needs more content to be worth the money.

It's $10!

I read the bottom of the thread before going to the top. I figured it was going to be 25-30 bucks, but just 10? lol

That $13 (including S&H) is $13 you could have put towards the $19.99 DVD of Sidney Crosby at Dick's which includes the FULL Winter Classic on it as well as Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals last year. Those 2 games compliment my 10 Greatest Games In Penguins History DVD (especially since if those games had been played prior to that set coming out I think both of them would have made it)
