They pens may have a tough time getting the puck out without a commited effort of backchecking by our forwards.
I just broght this up in another thread. We have guys with the passing and skating out ability, but the decision making will be off at the start of the season. Gonchar was best at knowing when to skate it out, when to pass it, and where to pass it compared to the other dmen. I think we will see the Pens having a lot of trouble getting the puck out of their zone to start the season. It's just the difference between Letang's one year of experience vs Gonchar's 13 years.
