anyone else find it coincidental that they just happened to run into Dick Tarnstrom, shortly after losing sarge and whitney...?

Tarnstrom was the man. Didn't he lead our team in points one year?

Yes. I also like how he is wearing a backpack... like 'hey guys, funny running into you here. oh, really, you just lost 2 of your top dmen? Huh. Well, would you look at that. I just happen to have all my gear and bags packed already, so you know, just sayin'.

Also, check out Fleury's all-black Buccos hat. They should adopt those colors full-time. Like a funeral.

It looks like someone didn't enjoy experiencing the evolution of the X Generation.

Got his autograph, the last game before the lockout.

Funny story-
Melichar said "no" when I asked him for his (not sure why I did)

and Morozov ignored me and everyone one, got in his car and left for MOTHER RUSSIA!

If Gogo doesn't show enough during our European trip, I wouldn't mind signing the Great Dick Tarnstrom as some insurance.

He was a classy guy and never wanted to leave in the first place. He was just one of those guys that had to go.

Oh those are great.

Well, except for the sleeping photos - those poor guys. I would be horrified if someone took a picture of me while I was sleeping and posted it on the internet.

Those photos were great. And the sleeping photos? Priceless! I think seeing Brooksie in the viking hat was the best. He's so serious all the time (and awkward around fans), that it's funnier.

I like these candid photos. It's nice to see the boys being boys, goofing off, having fun.

Tarnstrom looks like a homeless guy in that picture. I think that's a change cup and not a cup of coffee.

I'm surprised the Blue Jackets didn't keep Dickie T around after he joined them for the stretch run last year. He still had the ability to work the point on the powerplay, which Columbus desperately needed/needs.

Remember the Rick and Dick connection? Oh my, good times...actually, horrible times, but yea...

Honest, I was thinking, who is that guy? I didn't recognize Bob Errey either.
