last year our 4th line could possess the puck, create chances once in a while, and work behind the net. This year our 4th line can't even get on the ice? That's something that needs to be addressed.

I really hope the NHL avoids going to Europe in the future. What a joke. I've seen more excitement in church.

Well, so much for the minimalist approach to the GDT. Looks like I'm picking up where I left off last year. Oh well, at least I showed up.

It is obvious that Malkin needs to go back on the point on the powerplay.

I want to see Kennedy on Crosby's line when Sykora comes back. Put Fedetenko on the third line.

At least I feel a bit better about our PP now.

Goligoski was a bright spot.

Take the confidence from the goal, and put it into a win Friday.

NEVER involve us in this trip again. Thanks.

Let's Go Pens!

I, for one, can't wait for them to get back on Mellon Arena ice. And that's saying something.

Well at least we didn't get Auld yesterday. We'd be going back to the US down 0-2.

Amen. That could not be a truer statement considering that my family tried a new time at our new church today, a contempory service and the noise, excitement and energy coming from the 80 or 100 people in church today was about 1,000x more than the game we just watched. I just don't think it is worth the price that teams and fans pay to play over seas.

I'd hate to break up Cooke/Talbot/Dupuis. They were the only line that sustained any sort of pressure at even strength, and the only line that had any energy out there, with the exception of TFK.

Satan and Fedotenko will never play all year with Sid.

Yea, Biz and Godard were the reason it took us 27 minutes with an extra guy to score.

Crosby said that in the press conference yesterday after the game. Said he wasn't sure anyone was paying any attention in the stands and there was no real excitement. Said it was tough to play.

Now, that isn't an excuse, because both teams have to put up with it. But it does suck.

In this world nothing is certain but death, taxes, and Malkin on Crosby's wing not working.

My point exactly, BGL was overpaid, but he was much more then Godard ever will be. Sticking up for your teammates will only go so if you continue to put your team in a bind.

once sykora is back, a good player is getting sent down the 4th

when we were injured last year, our 4th line was butt. nathan smith anyone? when we're healthy, it'll be better.

I know this sounds weird, but I haven't seen may point/game guys play as lackadaisical as he did. I don't even know how he got most of those points. Just kinda showed up on the scoreboard without really playing hard.
