Was the Ice Bad in Sweden?

Postby Old Time Hockey on Mon Oct 06, 2008 10:59 am

Was it just me or did the ice look terrible each period? I saw that the puck would bounce all over the place and would not settle down. I am giving Satan, Fedotenko, and Staal the benefit of the doubt that the ice was bad. We will see how they play when the play on real ice.

Mellon ice still better than MSG and a few others.
I did read the ice-specialist was in Stockholm, but with the change of the dimensions of the rink, the ice was just formed Wednesday? I believe.

It's because of all the "hot" chicks in the arena...

They referred the ice to being as good as at the Winter Classic. That should answer your question.

The ice sucked.

Don't know it was because of the narrowing down of the rink or that the Globe Arena rarely sees 14k people.
