CPZ is showing that a year in the WHL is all he needed to get comfortable.
In 2 games, he has 7 points (2+5) and was a +7.
I am downright amazed that I am one of the only people that are touting this kid like crazy. He might not be the best skater, but his nose for the net and offensive capabilities are through the roof. Talk about a kid that could be a huge asset at Wing down the road.
Considering this is his last year of junior eligibility, I'd say it's pretty encouraging to see him have this type of start.
I plan on watching a few Giants games next week so I'll do a liveblog or two about his performances.
i think i heard on one of the broadcasts this weekend that a couple of teams have already called Shero about trying to get him since they thought we might be interested in acquiring a puck moving Dman in return
its nice to see the Pens are going to have a couple nice prospects to fill in the team or to package later in the season
first time post here since i finally got my account set up. and i've always loved watching cpz play. I met him at the draft in columbus, got my picture take with him and had him autograph some stuff and let me tell you guys, he is going to become a great player. we hung out and chatted for awhile and he is the real deal. and yes he is part inuit. his dad is a really cool guy too. overall he's a great kid and a great player and he definatly has a future with us.
Its great to see him doing well, but its hard for me to get excited about it outside of the fact that he is a pens prospect. Unlike most of our other meaningful prospects, literally the only things I know about him are what you have posted here.
