Just watched it. It is definitely worth $20. Or $10 if you buy it with your Giant Eagle Card at GetGo.

I liked the cement patio that he was shooting on at the end.

If you buy it at Dick's Sporting Goods, you'll pay $20, but get a second disc. It has the complete Game 5 broadcast of the finals plus two segments of various Pens mic'd up at practice and during playoff games. Whitney gets on Sid a little during the practice. Good stuff. :D

I didn't think I could respect Crosby any more than I did, but after watching that, I do. He's unbelievable.

I just added it to my Netflix queue. As of this post, it has a 1.8 rating. Flyers and Craps fans are at it again.

As a current out-of-towner -

I want the Dick's version of the DVD with the bonus disc - any word from anyone who's ordered online as to whether ordering from Dick's online will include this bonus?

On a side note - is there confirmation on the Sid tattoo? Was Malone rubbing off on Sid???

My bonus disc has Game 5 in widescreen.

Do you think that Sid got the tat on his calf after the high ankle sprain? odd tat to get of a cross on you leg. Maybe got it put there as hopes of keeping the injury from reaccuring?

Btw the Pink skate guards are the ones he is wearing in the gatorade commercial. They probably gave them to him and he probably doesn't wear them on a regular basis

Pink can be very attractive on men~ saw Sidney in pink at NHL.com doing an advertisement for breast cancer awareness auction. Sergei in the epic A & L commercial. Why do you think they call pink HOT?

I make fun of any of my guy friends that wear pink. We used to flick them in the nuts to see if anything was there back in the day.

Also, wearing pink is what got Homer Simpson committed to the mental institution. That is where he met the fat white Michael Jackson before he actually turned white.

Great documentary, I jut got done watching it.

Man, how big is Maxime Talbot? I'd say in 70% of the winning goals they showed, he was the one scoring the goal.

What a reference. LOL

And on a completely non simpsons note. I got the dvd at dicks last night. Wow. Game five was worth the 20 bucks alone. I forgot how freakin depressed i was for the first 19:30 of period three till max banged it home. Sure the pens had the lead at the begining but the way they played it just felt bad and that bad feeling got ten times worse when they actually did give up the lead. what a game.

The documentary itself is extremely well done and the music and cinematography really give it an epic (and sadly as the dvd comes close to it's end, tragic) feel. i really enjoyed watching it. Can't wait to watch the bonus features. Right now I'm watching game 5 again maybe later ill watch the winter classic. Def. go buy it at dicks if you can.

I would like the DVD with Bonus too.

Wonder if someone would ship it, how much it would cost...if i paid up front of course...it wouldn't pay me to spend the gas to drive to get it.

After i got over the "dicks" google shock, shipping from Dicks, is 5.99. How much just to stick it in a bubble envelope?
