No real info yet. Undisclosed injury. When will all this BS stop? Gonchar, Whitney, McFadden, Polomalu, Gil, Hampton, Parker........

I'm just glad we have the deepest defensive corps in the history of the franchise right now. Sydor is not as physical as gil, but will be a servicable fill-in.

They're in real trouble if someone else goes down though, I don't know who there is in Willkes Barre to call up

Oh great. Another injury, just what we needed. That's a damn shame especially since he has been playing so well. Welcome back to the lineup Darryl Sydor.

Paul Bissonnette as a possible choice after D Sydor.

Before the season, didn't RS say you need 9 NHL caliber defensemen? That man is a profit.

Ugh.

And my mom laughed when I told her I want to wrap all the defensemen in bubble wrap. :(

I think I'd rather use an actual pylon to sub for Gill before I'd use Melichar.

By the way, check out this stroke of genius from that article.

Penguins defenseman Hall Gil

Any relation to Hal Gill?

I'll give a pass on that typo - it's a pretty easy one to make.
