Click "Listen Live" in the upper left corner.

some firewalls block the live stream from that radio group's websites (i.e. the x, wdve, etc.) so I've found that while I'm at work I have to go to PittsburghPenguins.com and click on LISTEN LIVE by the current game information, and then a new mirror opens and I can listen. (It's the regular X broadcast, just through a different window) Weird I know, but maybe that is what is happening to you?

You can also listen to the home and away broadcasts of any game free on nhl.com

Also, it only seems to work in IE, not Firefox.

I can't listen there because it wants me to download flip4mac which i then download and it then won't unpack for me so i just get annoyed and don't bother with it.

The stream won't play for me in Firefox,

is there any plug-in I could download that will correct this?

i'm on windows and use "ie tab" for firefox which will use the ie renderer without having you start ie separately. and you can set pages that require ie to automatically open in an "ie tab".

not sure for any non windows users... i would think that by now people would stop developing windows and ie specific websites and apps. that's obviously not the case.

sorry, just an angry web developer

Yeah the X's web developer is a big fat FAIL for not supporting firefox.

I think every Clear Channel station has that same player... Blame their terrestrial radio monopoly not the X.

Thanks guys. I'm rocking the firefox, hence my problems. I was entirely too vague in the o.p., but yeah... it just kept telling me that paralyzer by finger eleven was playing... meanwhile it was the 2nd period of the game.

I'll just go with NHL.com from here on out because firefox pwnzasaurus rexes IE (don't ask).

For the NHL.com feed, do you have the choice of broadcast, or is it whomever is playing at home?
