hopefully they'll give him a shot on a scoring line instead of letting him waste away on the 4th line.

I believe Minard has the most goals on the team, and http://emedia.citizensvoice.com/Penguin ... fault.aspx said that he is crazed about shooting the puck.

Minard is playing the best. Plain and simple. It would be very demoralizing to the rest to WBS if the best player wasn't the first callup.

Good for him. He has outperformed the likes of Pesonen, Taffe, Stone, etc.

Get on the Minard Train!

Don't forget to change your "Pick-a-Pen" choice if you had Dupuis.

agreed, minard has been playing the best he deserve the first call up, lets give Pesonen some more time, he is still only about what 10-15 games into the AHL season in his first take of North American hockey, lets give him some time to get grounded

Bombulie has been on the Minard boat recently for him getting a shot, should the opportunity arise. Minard played with Gomez in Alaska during the lockout and filled up the net. Maybe he can thrive being fed pucks by Sid?!?

In '04-05 Minard scored 78 points in 69 games (49 goals) alongside Gomez

That was with the Alaska Aces of the ECHL

No, it might be in the KHL because you can see Russia from Alaska.
