i'm excited about kennedy getting a shot there too. i think i read on idoit's blog that these lines might change during the game, though.

Minard is stated to be playing the third line with Staal and Satan, so I guess that does leave Max on the 4th line. I'm guessing he can go, but they don't want him playing big minutes tonight. That may explain the 4th line assignment. He can always be used on the PK too for some extra ice time.

TK deserves this. He has great awareness on the ice, and the kid wins almost every battle on the boards.
Talbo should be on the third or second line, cooke should be on line 4...in my humble opinion. Good luck Tyler!

Why did we sign Satan at $3.5 million if he's not even going to get the chance to mesh with Sid. Tonight would be the perfect game to get them back together against a weaker team.
I'd much rather see...
TK - Sid - Satan
Fedo - Malkin - Sykora
Cooke - Staal - Dupuis
Minard - Ziggy - Godard
with Talbot taking Minard's spot if he's healthy enough to play.

I think the Pens should try Kennedy on the 1st line for a while and see if he's got what it takes to be a guy who can put in 20 goals or so and not be out of place. Personally I have my doubts as he's not so good along the boards to me as others seem to perceive and he's easy to bump off the puck. Still, why not? See what you have with him and he can always go back to the 3rd line if it doesn't work out. Minus Hossa, Dupuis becomes somewhat lacking on the 1st line and it's noticeable. As long as you had Sid+Hossa scoring, no one cares who is on LW. Not the case now.
I'd like to see Fedo-Malkin-Sykora as the 2nd line also. That line should be able to come close to giving the Pens what they had last year on the 2nd line.
