It doesn't offend me. It annoys me. You sing no praise, but you'll complain at every step. If you leveled out the negativity with some positivity, it'd be a little better, but you don't. It just gets old.

On a positive note: it's great to see Orpik playing great hockey right now. He's leading by example, he's playing hard, hitting, playing good positional D, etc....

I feel bad for the GDT starters the past two games. These threads have been exorbitantly filled with misery.

I'm not usually in GDT during the games but I've felt like I've needed to stick around to try to bring some positivity. But mostly it goes ignored and some people would rather throw temper tantrums. Gross.

It doesn't all have to be sunshine, rainbows & lollipops but a little perspective would be nice once in awhile.

I don't think I'll ever understand you.

Don't sweat it, not many people do.

I love the Pens, wouldn't trade my season tickets for anything in the world, but GODDAMNIT they frustrate the hell out of me when they play like this.

Wow. This board is unbeliveable.

You forgot the threads about Staal.

This isn't directed at either of you, but if everyone took they energy normally devote to ridiculing those threads and channeled it into the willpower to ignore them, they'd quickly drop down the list and off the first page of this forum. That never happens though.

I do need to learn how to ignore better.

Do you think maybe the Pens effort has more to do with this than the "juju"?

Just asking, but seriously, do you?

Pang was pretty pumped that the Yotes fans where able to drown out the Pens fans. Wow, big accomplishment. He was bragging about it at the end of the game. Also, noticed the next Yote game is radio only, glad those days are long gone in Pittsburgh

The effort was there in the final two periods. There are just certain nights over a six-month, 82-game season when nothing goes right. Tonight was one of them.

This team the past 3 games I dunno I'm speechless. What is there to say that hasn't been said. We're gonna hear the same things. MT is changing lines for Sat's game (like that's gonna do any good) he's gonna give them a tough practice, there maybe some call ups or send downs. This team has just been terrible the past few games.

No no, its all sunshine and lollipops, just ask the "regulars"

How is being 100% positive any different than being 100% negative like you've been? People aren't on you because you're complaining; they're on you because that's ALL you've dooing. I've yet to see someone draw the ire of other posters for posting a criticism that had some reasoning behind it, but when anyone just keeps posting "he sucks, they stink" over and over, people are going to get tired of it.

It just seems worse because it's their third straight. If this came after 2 or 3 wins, I don't think there would be near as much frustration.

I suspect you would find something to complain about regardless, which was the point I was making with my last sentence. It's called "perspective" and it must've gone over your head.

I would play these lines for the next month:
Talbot-Crosby-Satan (Score)
Fedotenko-Malkin-Sykora (Score)
Cooke-Staal-Dupuis (True checking line, Match them against the top line every game)
Kennedy-Zigomanis-Godard (Energy)
