Sykie had his stick break on a prime scoring chance, and puck jumped over his stick on another. Aside from the Satan goal, Pens got ZERO bounces tonight.

It's going to be a long winter boys and girls A looooong colllllldd winter. They remind me of the team that Sid was on in the first year. But this team has no natural snipers other than malkin.. Too many players that are in the same mold. All of them are challenged offensively and that boys and girls is not good. Thank God the goaltending has been solid or they would be in really deep crap.

IF you add Kennedy you might as well add everyone. He showed some things tonight at least.

I thought he looked pretty mediocre outside of a few plays. For someone who "deserves" to be on a top line because he doesn't stop hustling, he was pretty invisible tonight.

The strange thing is ever since I started to wear my Lawrence Taylor jersey during my workouts instead of my Penguins jersey they have lost 3 in a row.Guess I better go back to my Pens jersey during workouts.

Well, I'd say you better! No more scapegoating Staal for causing us to lose games - clearly 71Aj66ax87 is the culprit. Rabble, rabble!

It's the way they are playing that is causing this. After being there, I am 100% certain of it. The bounces are there, but they are never able to get to them. They are creating their own bad luck.

This team is nothing like the 05-06 Penguins. They have more skill, more heart and more physical prowess, plus they're not 0-10. That said, it would seem that something has to be done to improve our offense. Goaltending has bailed us out more than enough times thus far, and it can't go on forever.

If you can wear a long sleeved hockey jersey during workouts, it isn't much of a workout.

More than a body in front of the net, need a body with hands to move the puck into the net.

I miss the ryan malone type of last year. But, with no Segei and Ryan Whit...extra minutes being spent just gathering and skating with puck out of their zone.

Only the penguin players can break out of this malaise and learn from it.

Put out an alert for the entire team 5 on 5....

They get dominated 5 on 5 against average teams...

Kennedy was just as invisible as everyone else last night.

Malkin and Satan were the only guys I even noticed for anything positive.

Fundamentally they suck and their work ethic is worse. The players are the ones to blame because they are just not working for their luck and they refuse to score ugly goals.

It's not even just having a body in front of the net. It's getting away from the boards. Everyone just cycles until they lose the puck. The puck possession is great, but eventually you have to make a move to score. And a shot from along the goal line does not count. A body in front of the net is useless when they can't even get it there.
