I would find it hard to believe that they called Minard up for one game and then ship him back, especially after he played a pretty good game last night.

Yes you are right. I don't know who else they would send down. Unless the previous poster is correct in that he replaces Crosby, who maybe out Saturday.

Nothing at all actually. I would just like to see it. A little bit of over-exaggeration. I was one of the many that was rooting for the guy. But I wasn't disappointed either when he got sent down to WBS, cause it was probably a better move for his development for the NA style of hockey. But, with the way we have played the last 3 games, it would be nice to see a little shakeup and to see Pez skating alongside 87.

Okay, that's completely resonable. There are some people that sincerely say that without having seen Pesonen play. I hope that he gets a shot. He's certainly interesting. I'm excited to see it shake out as well.

well werent they working with 1 roster spot available anyway? either way, i think minard was just an emergency call up since dupuis wasnt able to go.. either way, i think the lines should look like this, assuming sid is in.

Pesonen - Crosby - Kennedy (if left alone for more than a period could be a special line)
Fedex - Malkin - Sykora
Satan - Staal - Dupuis
Cooke - Talbot - Biz Nasty/ Godard

Oh yea. I completely understand what you are saying. I am just pumped about him getting called up. It will be interesting to see if he plays tomorrow and with whom. Hopefully, though, he is given a top 6 role and given an opportunity to succeed and prove himself worthy of being on an NHL roster.

With Sydor, Bissonnette, and Dupuis scratched and Minard called up we're at 24 with Pesonen, so sometihing is up. Not sure you can have an emergency call up with 2 healthy scratches.
