No, but when you have other viable options such as Satan/Kennedy/Talbot, you put atleast one of those guys with Crosby. And above all that, Satan should not be relegated to 3rd line duties because of Minard and Pesonen.

I'm not saying they should do it, but there is precedent for success with players that are at best 3rd liners. And for as highly as most people that have yet to see pesonen on the ice choose to hold him, he seems to be the best option at wing in the system.

I have no problem with putting Pesonen on the first line with Sid. In fact, I am advocating that Therrien do this. However, you can't put both Minard and him together with Sid, that's all. Someone more proven like Satan should definitely be playing on Sid's right wing.

Very true. I too think he should have given Satan more than 3 games to work things out with Sid. But, once again, I am not going to question a man who brought this team 2 wins away from the Cup. Let alone, helping this team have a 47 point turnaround from one year to the next.

No offense, but in the AHL... Minard has had playing time in the NHL with little success. I'm fine with experimenting with one of them at a time on Crosby's wing, but not both. That line becomes our 3rd line with both of them. I'd be fine with Satan, Cooke, or even for the hell of it, Staal on the other side.
