I think he just had to take a poo. He said he didn't even watch the 3rd period. Probably sitting on the join.

Lot's of Mexican food in Phoenix.

I really hope Crosby doesn't turn into a player who has constant ankle/hamstring/groin injuries. It seems possible with all the training he does... maybe its too much sometimes?

The ankle injury he had really didn't have anything to do with training though, it was just a freak accident. He's had a few minor groin pulls over the years but it's probably more rare to find a player that hasn't had those. If anything his playing style makes him more susceptible to getting hurt because he initiates contact and plays at a high intensity pretty much all the time. Those things also are a big part of what makes him great.

Well, he did look horrible against the Coyotes. Especially on the 2nd goal (the goal by Doan).

Don't put any stock in those projected lines.

Fedotenko and Eaton scratched. Eaton sucks so I'm not surprised by that at all. Fedetenko has been playing pretty well lately, so I'm a bit more surprised by that one.

Fedo should not be scratched that is a bone headed move by MT. Staal should be sitting but I guess he's going to be given a chance till he's 40 to prove himself.

I agree. However, I think this almost guarantees Pesonen will be in the lineup and more than likely flanking Sid on the wing.

But I think it is stupid to scratch Fedotenko. He has been one of the few bright spots as of lately and it seemed like he was really starting to mesh in with his teammates and the system.

He's an elite 3rd line shutdown center!

I thought it was dumb as well. But, Fedotenko has now been changed from "healthy scratch" to "undisclosed injury". Makes more sense.

Do it. A little weak with Peso and Satan together, but I like it. How come I still feel like Satan will still somehow end up on the 3rd line instead, even though he does not belong there?

Also, I think you may also see Cooke and Talbot swap spots. Cooke was excellent last game and he showed he can play with Malkin. I would give him another chance.

Satan being on the 3rd line right now is like Sykora on the 3rd line much of the beginning of last season.
