Yeah, at this point Malkin should be in before Sid. Sadly though, Sid was a lock before the season began and Malkin is probably "on the bubble". Fleury probably has a good shot.

Players who have not played a game this year on the ballot; silly. I bet Ryan Whitney and Serge feel odd about that.
Game in Montreal and Price on the ballot...bad luck for Flower. He is still our all-star.

Game will be good opportunity to get Ilya and Sid on a line.

Malkin's leading the bloody league. He aught to be a starter.

Well Semin/Sharp are 2nd and 3rd and they aren't even on the ballot.

Maybe if Semin had kept his dumb mouth shut.

Neither is Selanne.

It's stupid that they base the performance of the previous year instead of the current year for who makes it.

It's just for starters anyways. Gonch wasn't on it last year but he still made it in.

I'm left to wonder how many votes Gonchar & Whitney will receive from fans of other teams who do not realize neither has played a single game this season.

I think they definitely deserve votes based on their play last season/post season. Heck, I know I'll vote for both of them. But I'm a Pens fan.

I expect them to get thousands of votes from pens fans who know they haven't played a game. They'll get votes from me.

I'm sure they will. That's why my original musing was about the fans of the other teams.

Vinny Prospal deserves the spot over Malkin again this year.

Prospal always deserves a spot. He's definitely among my favorite non-pens.

It is completely idiotic that players make the ballot when they have not played a single game.
