Yep, thats the perfect way to describe it. Empty. I feel kind of sick actually without them.

Ugh. I haven't missed them at all. They're about as realistic as the trade Staal threads of this season.

Yeah, i'm rather glad that we have the Staal threads to fill the void. It just isn't the same though.

Letang is much better defensively than Gogo, no way.

Letang is much better defensively than Gogo, no way.


I definitely agree. He has as much offensive upside, is faster, younger, and better defensively.

That said when Gonch and Whitney come back, I wouldn't be against playing 7 d-man so Gogo can stay. I think he's earned a roster spot, but not at the cost of Letang or one of our defensive d-men getting sat.

If we're going to use him as a 7th defenseman, I'd rather him go back to WB/S and get top pairing minutes....there's certainly still things that he can improve on.
