Good stuff

Postby Gaucho on Sun Nov 16, 2008 9:18 am

Pens are 6-3 when trailing after 2. Last season they were 6-20-3.

Staal says: "We really need a better start. At some point, it might catch up to us."

Well, I don't know. Anyone else getting kinda nervous once the Pens get a 2-0 or 3-0 lead? I do. Not so when they're behind by a goal. This team is crazy. It's also crazy good.

And I just love this quote by Geno: "Thanks to my teammates," Malkin said. "They pass to me and score on my passes."

I feel more confident down 2-1 than up 3-0, frankly.

I'm just happy that they realize it isn't a healthy approach. Staal acknowledging that it could come back to bite them at some point tells me that they realize they'll have to play more complete games.

Penguins give out a prize when they score five goals~ so with like 10 minutes left in the 3rd they announce the seat that wins a Nemacolin 2 day stay. I just laughed because it was 1-2 sabres. So with 8 mins and change left, they score 4 goals. In the future, I will not doubt!
